If your circumstances can tell you where you're going to go and how you're going to do it and with whom you're going to do it, you are on the path of slavery.
If your circumstances tell you where you can go and how high you can jump, and how long you stay there, you’re in a very sad place. That is not the way that your life is supposed to be lived.
Your life is supposed to be lived with a compass that is in your spirit, knowing what God has intended for your life.
Your life is supposed to be lived exercising the law of hope so that with your eyes in your spirit, as joined to the Holy Spirit, you can see where you're supposed to be going.
If your circumstances begin to tell you what you're supposed to do and where you're supposed to go and who you're supposed to be, you will never do what you're supposed to do with your life.
Your life is not supposed to be lived from the outside in, it's supposed to be lived from the inside out.
If your life is being lived from the outside in, you are living in slavery. But, if you are living from the inside out, you live in royalty.
There is a difference between people who live from the outside in -under the rule of circumstances and allowing those circumstances to determine how they feel and what they do- and people who live from the inside out - under the rule of their own spirit and how God wants them to go about living their lives.
If your life is being dictated to you by your circumstances, you are less than a beggar because your life is being determined by what somebody else has set in motion. Even beggars choose to do something independently of their present circumstances.
If somebody else sets something in motion for you, and you operate based on that, you are a slave. But if you create the life that you were meant to create, then you are a king. You see, the difference between royalty and slavery is that royalty creates the systems and the slave lives in the systems that others have created.
What am I saying?
With the law of hope, you'll be able to create the world that you're supposed to live in because you would have a standard (set by God) by which you are aspiring to.
