"The Law of Hope states that if you can see it, you can aspire to it." - Quinson Thomas
Do you know why people live an average life? Many times, it's because they do not exercise great hope.
You will live an average life if you do not exercise the law of hope sufficiently!
The extraordinary thing about hope is the goal post always moves the more that you achieve as a result of applying the law of hope. This is why Hope is essential to living an advancing life- the more you see, the more you see that you didn't see as much as you thought you saw when you first looked.
Hope allows you to be everything that God intended for you to be, because the more you see what He intends for your life, the more you realize that there's more to achieve.
What is the law of hope? It simply states that if you can see it, you can aspire to it.
Aspiration, expectation, and standards are all hallmarks of the law of hope. What do you want in your life? What do you see for your life?
What do you gravitate to in your life? All of these are determined by the law of hope. Because if you live a life that is standard-less, you will fall because of no standards.
The law of hope enables you to live life on purpose.
A guy that I spoke to a couple of years ago had a very “unique” thought process. I asked him, “Where do you see yourself 10 years from now, five years from now?”
Very often, I ask people these kinds of questions because I like to see who I'm interacting with and I like to determine whether or not that person is on the advancing path, or if they're on a path that is not leading to advancement.
Quite frankly, I like to be around people who are on the advancing path.
And so, by asking these questions, I get to gain a bit of insight as to who the person with whom I am speaking really is.
So, I asked him, “Where do you see yourself 10 years from now or even five years from now?”
And he said this to me.
He said that he doesn't have a five-year or 10-year plan. But what he has - and he doesn't even have a weekly plan- is a day-by-day or moment-by-moment plan.
With this plan, he goes through his day, and based on what happens in his day, he would chart his course or react.
What a very destructive and foolish way to live life!
If your circumstances (not God) dictate to you how you should act, you are on the path of abasement.
Let God dictate your life! Hope in Him!
