What does the Scripture say about healing sickness?
The scripture says that healing sickness is done by faith because we're able to receive the healing power of God and other graces through faith.
The scriptures also say that the effectual fervent prayers of the righteous avail much (James 5).
Why? Because the righteous live by faith. And so the prayers that the righteous pray are prayers of faith - spiritual substance and evidence given by God Himself.
That's why The Lord Jesus Christ would often say, “Be it unto you according to your faith”. Your faith is what God has given to you, so whatever is wrought by faith, is according to the will of God.

What does Jesus say about miracles?
Jesus said that we should not marvel at this, for an hour is coming when all who are in the tombs will hear His voice and come out (John 5:28). Jesus also based miracles on hearing the voice of God and doing His will. Throughout the New Testament He basically says that Miraculous works are done by hearing and doing God's will or His Word.
Miracles are supernatural activities of the Spirit of God that defy the laws of nature. So, somebody receiving a deliverance is a form of a miracle. Somebody getting a leg that was amputated, but grown back, is a miracle. Someone receiving an air drum that they never had from birth is a miracle.
Miraculous Power To Raise The Dead
The scriptures talk about the miracles of The Lord Jesus Christ and what He did. A notable miracle is the raising of Lazarus from the dead. No, that's not natural. When somebody dies, they tend to stay dead.
But Jesus raised him from the dead by His word!
Again, whenever you talk about miracles, you have to inevitably go back to the Word of God because it's through the word of God, that miracles are done.
And it's not just the word of God that you read in the Bible, which gives you the light of the word, but it's also the information that “God gives to you in your spirit, which is God working in you”, according to Philippians two and verse 13, “to will and to do”, according to His good pleasure.
God wants you to be a conduit of His power and His miracles just as The Lord Jesus Christ was a conduit of His power and His miracles.

Isaiah 53:5
But he was wounded for our transgressions, he was bruised for our iniquities: the chastisement of our peace was upon him; and with his stripes we are healed.
Isaiah 41:10
Fear thou not; for I am with thee: be not dismayed; for I am thy God: I will strengthen thee; yea, I will help thee; yea, I will uphold thee with the right hand of my righteousness.
James 5:15
And the prayer of faith shall save the sick, and the Lord shall raise him up; and if he has committed sins, they shall be forgiven him.
