How do you activate God's healing power?
God's healing power is activated by the humble. James4:6, says that “He opposes the proud but gives grace to the humble”. That word ‘grace’ there is Charis. Charis talks about gifts, healing power, spiritual gifts or favors, abilities, and states given to you by God Himself. When you humble yourself, God gives you things that you didn't have to work for like healing power; He gives you His stuff.
Remember, Hebrews chapter 11 and verse one says that “Faith is the substance of things hoped for; the evidence of things not seen”.
You see that word ‘substance’ there, that's the stuff of God; that's the stuff that He gives to you by the power of the Holy Spirit.
The power that He gives to you is that stuff. The confidence that He gives to you is that stuff.
And so, when you receive the Word of God, by humbling yourself, you get faith, and that faith activates the power of God in your life for you to do great and mighty works.
I remember I was praying for this young lady, and I was praying in my own strength. But at a certain point, I sensed in my spirit that God was going to do something. Now, I didn't sense it before, but I sensed it later. What was that?
That was the evidence and the substance coming on the inside.
You have to wait until that substance and that evidence comes on the inside because that's an indication that you have the Spirit and The Life of God to do the work according to The Lord Jesus Christ in John 6:63.
How do you use God's word for healing?
- You study God's Word; meditate on it.
- Once you meditate on the Word of God, what will inevitably happen, if you humble yourself, according to James 4:6, is that “God will give you grace”. And Grace has to do with the ability to do the work of God by the power of The Holy Spirit.
- Once you get that grace, then you ask God, “How do I apply this grace for my healing?” Once you get the instructions from God, the healing will be the result. But it's important here to note that everything has to be done by God.
So, you have desires to be healed, but God also has desires for your healing.
The important thing to get a hold of is the desire of God. Because once you have the desire of God, you know the will of God, and your prayers will be answered because they are according to His will.
So how do you activate God's healing power?
You activate it by humbling yourself and waiting on the Lord “for you shall”, as scripture says, “renew your strength”, and I will add with the strength of Almighty God in the Name of The Lord Jesus Christ.
