Psalm Chapter 94 KJV

King James Version, Holy Bible

O Lord God, to whom vengeance belongeth; O God, to whom vengeance belongeth, shew thyself.

Lift up thyself, thou judge of the earth: render a reward to the proud.

Lord, how long shall the wicked, how long shall the wicked triumph?

How long shall they utter and speak hard things? and all the workers of iniquity boast themselves?

They break in pieces thy people, O Lord, and afflict thine heritage.

They slay the widow and the stranger, and murder the fatherless.

Yet they say, The Lord shall not see, neither shall the God of Jacob regard it.

Understand, ye brutish among the people: and ye fools, when will ye be wise?

He that planted the ear, shall he not hear? he that formed the eye, shall he not see?

10 He that chastiseth the heathen, shall not he correct? he that teacheth man knowledge, shall not he know?

11 The Lord knoweth the thoughts of man, that they are vanity.

12 Blessed is the man whom thou chastenest, O Lord, and teachest him out of thy law;

Psalms Chapter 94 (Old Testament) Cont'd

13 That thou mayest give him rest from the days of adversity, until the pit be digged for the wicked.

14 For the Lord will not cast off his people, neither will he forsake his inheritance.

15 But judgment shall return unto righteousness: and all the upright in heart shall follow it.

16 Who will rise up for me against the evildoers? or who will stand up for me against the workers of iniquity?

17 Unless the Lord had been my help, my soul had almost dwelt in silence.

18 When I said, My foot slippeth; thy mercy, O Lord, held me up.

19 In the multitude of my thoughts within me thy comforts delight my soul.

20 Shall the throne of iniquity have fellowship with thee, which frameth mischief by a law?

21 They gather themselves together against the soul of the righteous, and condemn the innocent blood.

22 But the Lord is my defence; and my God is the rock of my refuge.

23 And he shall bring upon them their own iniquity, and shall cut them off in their own wickedness; yea, the Lord our God shall cut them off.

Psalms Chapter 94 Devotional - GOD OF VENGEANCE

Thought for the day: Vengeance belongs to the Lord.

Message:

Today we want to consider that the Lord is the God of vengeance. One thing I know about God is that He does things in His own time and in His own way. The perfect example of this is the story of Pharoh and the Egyptians who enslaved God’s children when God took vengeance on them.

The fact that God didn’t fight when you desperately needed Him to does not mean He does not see your tears and prayers; He only wants to do it in His way. Vengeance belongs to the Lord and when He is ready to fight for you, He will do it above your expectations. God will fight for you, in Jesus' name. See the scripture:

16 Therefore thus saith the Lord God; Behold, I will stretch out mine hand upon the Philistines, and I will cut off the Cherethims, and destroy the remnant of the sea coast.

17 And I will execute great vengeance upon them with furious rebukes; and they shall know that I am the Lord, when I shall lay my vengeance upon them. Ezekiel 25:15-16

Do not think God did not see your affliction and sorrow. Don’t think He has forgotten you. He will fight for you and you shall hold your peace. I need to pray for you right now; get ready for the touch of God. I stand against every force standing against you. By faith, I break you loose to your glory. I command that everywhere you have been caged you'll receive freedom and victory in Jesus' name.

30 For we know him that hath said, Vengeance belongeth unto me, I will recompense, saith the Lord. And again, The Lord shall judge his people. Hebrew 10:30

He is a God of vengeance that will fight for you. All you have to do is hold your peace. I see a quick intervention on your way right now. I see a quick recovery right now and whatever was stolen from you will be returned to you right now, in Jesus' name

My Counsel

Ø  Taking vengeance by yourself may stop or deter God from taking His vengeance.

Ø  Trust God to fight for you, He will never come late.

Declaration

Father, I thank you for the battle of the past that you fought for me. I trust in you and know that you shall fight for me and render every power of the devil useless before me in Jesus' name. Amen.
