Psalm Chapter 87 KJV
King James Version, Holy Bible
1 His foundation is in the holy mountains.
2 The Lord loveth the gates of Zion more than all the dwellings of Jacob.
3 Glorious things are spoken of thee, O city of God. Selah.
4 I will make mention of Rahab and Babylon to them that know me: behold Philistia, and Tyre, with Ethiopia; this man was born there.
5 And of Zion it shall be said, This and that man was born in her: and the highest himself shall establish her.
6 The Lord shall count, when he writeth up the people, that this man was born there. Selah.
7 As well the singers as the players on instruments shall be there: all my springs are in thee.
ZION AND THE ZIONITE
Thought for the day: Always remember that your dwelling place is Zion
Message:
Zion is the place of God, a place where God dwell, and every person created by God and those who put their faith in the Lord Jesus Christ and His finished work on the cross is a "Zionite". We belong to His throne place, and we take our strength from Zion. The Lord will establish the inhabitants of Zion, that is His promise.
The best place to reside is Zion, and this is where your security rests according to our scripture reading today. See the following scripture:
He that dwelleth in the secret place of the most High shall abide under the shadow of the Almighty. Psalm 91:1.
The Zionites are those that dwell in His secret place. No evil can happen to them because they are hidden in God. See the scripture again:
They go from strength to strength, every one of them in Zion appeareth before God. Psalm 84:7

6 In that day, saith the Lord, will I assemble her that halteth, and I will gather her that is driven out, and her that I have afflicted;
7 And I will make her that halted a remnant, and her that was cast far off a strong nation: and the Lord shall reign over them in mount Zion from henceforth, even for ever. (Micah 4:6-7)
God is the King in Zion and He rules in the affairs of Zion. He promised to bring you back from where the enemy sold you and bring you to Zion to enjoy all of God.
It does not matter the wound or the scar; God will heal your wound and comfort you. I am here to tell you today that if you are far from Zion you are not secure. He wants you to dwell with Him, and I am saying this specifically if you have not given your life to Christ, He is waiting for you in Zion.
My Counsel
Ø If you want to be secure in a time like this, run to Zion.
Ø Never play with your life, you cannot be secure anywhere except in God.
Declaration
Father, I confess that you are my King and my Lord. I surrender the lordship of my life to you and I ask that you take charge of my life to show forth your glory in Jesus' name.
