This is Prophet Quinson Thomas, and I have the word of the Lord to you for the 6th of August, 2026.
And as I was praying for you, the Lord revealed to me that this is a time to shift. Shift doesn't mean that you're going to upend everything that you have been working on, but it does mean that you're going to make changes as the Lord reveals those changes to you.
Your Season Has Changed - Get Ready
It's a change in season over your life.
"To every thing there is a season, and a time to every purpose under the heaven." (Ecclesiastes 3:1)
And this change in season requires you to dress differently. It requires you to act differently. It requires you to pass through different weather changes so that you can effectively reach your goals that the Lord has set for you.
And this time is going to be marked by changes in passion or changes in the directions that you've been headed. Because one of the things that the Lord does is He changes your passions or your desires in order to redirect you.
"For it is God which worketh in you both to will and to do of His good pleasure." (Philippians 2:13)
And as He changes your passions or desires, it's going to be in tandem with the new season that you find yourself in. Because old seasons have passed, and now this new season has now come upon you.
And so you have to dress differently, you have to act differently. And this is going to be done through your desires. So watch and see as the things that you used to like or enjoy doing don't particularly feel as inviting. And watch as the Lord gives you new desires for new things so that you can make moves in those areas.
"Behold, I will do a new thing; now it shall spring forth; shall ye not know it?" (Isaiah 43:19)
Changed Desires Will Change Your Posture and Strategy
This is a time when you will realize that Psalm 37 is going to ring true for you, where the Bible indeed declares that when you delight in the Lord, that He gives you the desires of your heart.
"Delight thyself also in the Lord; and he shall give thee the desires of thine heart." (Psalm 37:4)
He gives you the desires of your heart so that you can walk the right way and walk in tandem with the calling and purpose that He has given to you in this season.
And this is the word of the Lord to you in Jesus' mighty Name.
Action Steps
Here are some action steps that you should take to make this day as productive as the Lord wants it to be and for this season to be as rewarding as He has planned it.
Number one: Write the vision and make it plain because you have to see yourself and the battle strategy differently.
Sometimes when the Lord updates your vision on the inside, you don't—or you're not fully aware of it in your natural mind. But when you pen something out, or you speak what's going on in your heart and where you feel the Lord is leading you to go, you'll find that He's already been shifting things.
So write down the vision that He's placing on your heart. Follow the patterns of the desires that He has given to you and where you feel that He's leading you, and write those things down. You'll see that a pattern emerges of newness and direction.
"Write the vision, and make it plain upon tables, that he may run that readeth it." (Habakkuk 2:2)
Number two: Listen to His still, small voice today has He gives you new strategies.
You have to become very sensitive to the Lord because sometimes it's in the subtle nuances or minor impressions that you get on the inside that the Lord shifts things. And these small impressions or nudges in your spirit can cause a ceismic change in your life if you actually follow it.
So remember, desires are like doors. Once that desire changes, a new door can be opened.
"...a still small voice." (1 Kings 19:12)
Number 3: Pray like your destiny depends on it and so you can be in alignment with The Lord in this new season.
Because it's in that time of prayer and communion with God that you hear Him clearly, that you live righteously, that you surrender your will and your passions for the will and the passions and desires that He Himself gives to you according to that Psalm 37 text, where as you delight yourself in the Lord, He will give you the desires of your heart.
Number 4: Couple prayer with some time of praise and worship, because your joy is coming.
Spend some time in the presence of the Lord, worshiping Him and thanking Him for where He's taking you and where He's leading you. Because this is going to be an adventure—and a good adventure—where you're going to enjoy the way that He's taking you.
So trust Him and thank God for the journey ahead, and watch and see as the Lord makes good on the many promises that He has made in your life in Jesus mighty Name!
