The prophetic word of the day for the 31st of October 2024.
How Do You Know When God Talks To You - (Ways To Know For Sure)
As I sought the Lord, I sensed in my spirit that this is going to be a day that is going to be a little bit different from the days gone by, and when I say different, it will come with a plan of the enemy to bring about trouble and destruction.

What I'm seeing for the day is a bit of trouble in the world, and how it appears to me, in the spirit, it looks something like a crisis of some sort, and perhaps even a humanitarian crisis. (This does not have to happen though, if we pray)
Pray that The Lord will Prevent This Crisis
Now, the Lord has not gone into the detail as to what this is, but during this time period of the 31st of October, I'm seeing some sort of a crisis being brought about that wants to be made manifest for others to see and for others to recognize, but if it does, it will be of the enemy's doing so we are to pray against this crisis of some sort that I'm seeing unfold around the 31st of October this year.
Verse of the Day
Psalm 121:5 (KJV)
The LORD is thy keeper: the LORD is thy shade upon thy right hand.
God Will Protect You
Psalm 121:5 provides assurance that God’s protection is both active and continuous. The Lord is described as thy keeper, which signifies vigilant oversight. God does not merely observe events from a distance; He safeguards His people with purpose and precision. The phrase thy shade upon thy right hand conveys closeness and favor, emphasizing that His presence shields and strengthens.
Through the Lord Jesus, protection is not passive. His guardianship enables stability in circumstances that may appear uncertain. God’s plan for today includes providing a protective presence that allows faithful progress without fear or undue anxiety.
1. The LORD Is Thy Keeper — Active Oversight
The Hebrew term for keeper conveys preservation, guidance, and vigilance. God’s plan may involve unseen interventions, providing both direction and protection. The Lord Jesus ensures that the faithful are watched over moment by moment, preventing harm and guiding steps toward His purposes.
Application for today:
Approach each decision with the assurance that God’s oversight surrounds all actions. Trust in His guidance and discernment.
2. The LORD Is Thy Shade — Comfort and Strength
Shade provides relief from exposure and represents protection and favor. The placement upon thy right hand signifies honor and strength, indicating both defense and enabling for righteous action. God’s presence shields from adversity while granting the capability to fulfill His purposes.
Application for today:
When challenges arise, reflect on God’s protective presence. Let this awareness foster calmness and confidence in moving forward according to His plan.
3. Continuous Reliance on God
The protection described is ongoing, not intermittent. God’s vigilance is constant, and through the Lord Jesus, one may navigate difficulties with assurance. Trusting in His oversight allows for deliberate, informed, and faithful action.
Application for today:
Review areas of concern and consciously commit them to God’s care. Recognize that His protection is comprehensive and persistent.
4. Protection Enables Faithful Advancement
Acknowledging God’s guardianship provides the confidence to act in alignment with His purposes. Protection is not restrictive; it empowers movement within His plan. Stability and opportunity emerge when one is under His watchful care.
Application for today:
Identify a responsibility or opportunity requiring courage. Advance in faith, relying on God’s presence as both shield and support.
5. Assurance in All Aspects of Life
Psalm 121:5 encompasses both spiritual and practical protection. God safeguards the heart, mind, and circumstances. The imagery of shade illustrates both defense and provision, equipping the faithful for service and obedience.
Application for today:
Consider areas of vulnerability and acknowledge God’s comprehensive protection. Allow this confidence to shape decisions and actions.
Psalm 121:5 demonstrates that God’s care is purposeful, continuous, and empowering. Through the Lord Jesus, the faithful are preserved and guided.
