God bless you. This is Apostle Quinson Thomas, and I have the the prophetic word from The Lord for today, the 5th of February, 2026.

And today the Lord wants you to step out of the boat. No more waiting, no more analyzing, no more second-guessing, no more quitting—but stepping out of the boat.

The Apostle Peter said, “Lord, bid me to come out to walk on the water with You.” And the Lord said, “Come.” And we know that the Apostle Peter began to walk on the water.

An incredible feat of God’s power was wrought as the Apostle Peter walked on the water at the behest of the Lord Jesus Christ Himself and si it will be with you in Jesus' Name.

Today, The Lord is calling you to walk on the water.  No more setting aside talents, gifts, and abilities, and no more setting aside the glorious plan that He has for your life.

Now it’s time for you to follow through. Now it’s time for you to let your fears take the back seat. Now it’s time for those doors—those everlasting doors—to be opened up so that the King of glory can come in.

This is the time to be truly single-minded for a double-minded man, according to James, should not expect to receive anything from the Lord.

The Lord is calling you in this season to step out, because the time of preparation is over. The time of training is over, and the time of the revealing and the manifestation has come.

And it’s time for that fear to be cast aside so that the true you—the fullness of what God has called you to be—comes to the fore.

Let's break this word down into its key points.

1. Step Out of the Boat: Choose Obedience Over Hesitation

The Lord is calling you to step out of the boat right now. No more waiting, or calling it quits. This is a season of action.

Scripture: Matthew 14:29 — “And the Lord said, ‘Come.’ And when Peter had come down out of the boat, he walked on the water to go to Jesus.”

Peter obeyed immediately, stepping into what seemed impossible. Waiting beyond God’s command would have cost him the miracle. God’s instructions often require movement before full understanding.

Scripture: Ecclesiastes 11:4 — “He who observes the wind will not sow, and he who regards the clouds will not reap.”

The key point is that there is a difference between waiting on God and hesitating after God has spoken. Waiting is active trust; hesitation after instruction is disobedience. God’s command is the signal to act today, even when circumstances appear unfavorable.

Application: Identify areas where you have delayed obedience. Ask: Is God’s word already clear in this area? Move forward right now, trusting that His power supports your steps even in uncertainty.

2. Faith Is Greater Than What You Can See and Analyse

Faith requires stepping into the unknown today with trust in God’s promises, even when logic and reasoning cannot explain the path.

Scripture: Proverbs 3:5 — “Trust in the Lord with all your heart, and lean not on your own understanding.”

Scripture: 2 Corinthians 5:7 — “For we walk by faith, not by sight.”

Peter’s ability to walk on water did not rely on his own calculation or understanding; it depended on trust in The Lord Jesus. Analysis becomes a hindrance when it replaces faith.

Application: Examine areas where over-analysis is paralyzing your progress. Take the next faithful step today without demanding full clarity, knowing that God will provide understanding along the journey.

3. Single-Minded Faith

Second-guessing and doubt disrupt God’s work in your life. You are called to unwavering commitment right now.

Scripture: James 1:6 — “But let him ask in faith, with no doubting, for he who doubts is like a wave of the sea driven and tossed by the wind.

Scripture: Luke 9:62 — “No one, having put his hand to the plow, and looking back, is fit for the kingdom of God.”

Faith demands focus and consistency. Double-mindedness creates instability and prevents blessings from manifesting.

Application: Identify decisions or instructions you are revisiting unnecessarily. Commit to obedience today and let faith be the driver of your actions, not hesitation or doubt.

4. Steward Your Gifts and Calling Well

Do not set aside your God-given talents, gifts, or abilities. They were given to you by God Himself for a purpose and must be exercised today.

Scripture: 1 Timothy 4:14 — “Do not neglect the gift that is in you.

Scripture: Matthew 25:25 — “And I was afraid, and went and hid your talent in the ground.

Gifts and callings from The Lord are meant to be active, not dormant and hidden. Fear or procrastination diminishes their impact and delays the fulfillment of God’s plan for your life.

Application: Reflect on talents or callings you have not used in a while. Begin exercising them right now, trusting God to multiply your efforts and provide results beyond your understanding.

5. Let Fear Take the Back Seat

Fear is not God's portion for you. The Lord is calling you and the rest of His people to act in faith despite lingering fear today.

Scripture: 2 Timothy 1:7 — “For God has not given us a spirit of fear, but of power, love, and a sound mind.”

Scripture: 1 John 4:18 — “Perfect love casts out fear.”

Courage does not mean the absence of fear, but action in spite of it. Fear diminishes when love and obedience to God dominate your mindset.

Application: When fear arises, redirect focus to acts of obedience. Take steps today even when afraid, and allow God’s promises to override uncertainty.

6. Open the Everlasting Doors of Your Heart

God is calling you right now to open spiritual and practical doors for His glory to manifest in your life.

Scripture: Psalm 24:7 — “Lift up your heads, O you gates! And be lifted up, you everlasting doors! And the King of glory shall come in.”

Who is this King of glory? The Lord, strong and mighty.

It is through our faithfulness to Him - through our love - that fear is cast out. And in this season, fear needs to be cast out of your life by opening yourself up to the awareness of, and the promises of, God in your life.

Doors represent opportunities, relationships, and spiritual alignment. God will move through those open doors in your life if you let go of fear and keep the doors of your heart open to Him. Resisting The Holy Spirit will delay your breakthrough, so choose to be faithful to Lord.

Application: Open the doors of obedience, surrender, and faith today. Align your heart and actions to allow God’s presence and blessings to enter freely.

7. The Season of Manifestation is Here

The time of preparation and training is complete; God is calling you to move into your season of manifestation today.

Scripture: Ecclesiastes 3:1 — “To everything there is a season, a time for every purpose under heaven.”

Scripture: Joshua 1:11 — “Prepare provisions for yourselves, for within three days you will cross over this Jordan.”

Extended preparation can become a form of hiding. I have come today to announce to you that obscurity and hiding are over. Your light has come and the glory of The Lord has arisen upon you in Jesus' Name!

Application: Identify areas where you are lingering in preparation. Step forward right now into action, knowing that training and preparation have positioned you for this moment.

8. Cast Aside Fear and Step Into Your True Identity In Christ Jesus

The fullness of your God-given identity and potential is ready to be expressed today.

Scripture: Matthew 14:29; James 1:6

Fear is no good for you. Fear limits your God-given potential. Stepping out in faith brings your true identity—the person God created you to be—into full expression.

Application: Actively step into assignments and roles that reflect your calling today. Trust God to equip and guide you in each step, releasing fear and hesitation.

9. Trust in God’s Timing and Provision For Your Life

God works behind the scenes even when visible results are delayed.

Scripture: Daniel 10:12 — “From the first day that you set your heart to understand and to humble yourself before your God, your words were heard.”

Scripture: Romans 8:28 — “And we know that all things work together for good to them that love God, to them who are the called according to His purpose.”

Divine action often precedes visible results. Faith requires trusting God’s orchestration even when circumstances seem static.

Application: Focus on consistency in prayer, obedience, and stewardship today. Thank God for unseen activity, trusting that outcomes will manifest in His perfect timing.

10. Follow Through With God’s Work in and Through You

Do not second-guess or minimize what God has already accomplished in your life.

Scripture: Philippians 1:6 — “He which hath begun a good work in you will perform it until the day of Jesus Christ.”

God’s work is ongoing and perfecting. Past achievements and spiritual growth are part of His plan and should be honored.

Application: Acknowledge and celebrate progress, growth, and victories today. Stand confidently in your spiritual identity, trusting God to continue His work in you.

Let's Do This Thing

The Apostle Peter walked on water because he obeyed The Lord Jesus, not because he fully understood.

Today, you are being called to do the same: step out in faith, act on your gifts, obey without hesitation, and trust God’s timing.

I know I shared alot on this page, but here's the summary. The boat represents safety without obedience; the water represents risk with God's support and empowerment. Choose the water. The Lord is already working mightily on your behalf, opening doors, leveling the ground, silencing opposition, and manifesting His promises.

Be still. Trust in the Lord. Step out of the boat right now in Jesus' Mighty Name. Amen.
