Est.7 (Old Testament)
ESTHER 7: God’s Justice System
Memory verse: Esther 7:10 So they hanged Haman on the gallows that he had prepared for Mordecai. Then was the king's wrath pacified.
The memory verse for today is a powerful reminder of God's justice and how it always prevails in the end. Haman, known for his wicked Vices, plotted to destroy the Jewish people and had even built a gallows on which to hang Mordecai. But instead, Haman himself was hung on that very same gallows.
God's justice is not always immediate, and we may sometimes wonder if evil will ever be punished. But this verse reminds us that God's timing is perfect and that justice will eventually be served. We can take comfort in knowing that those who seek to harm others will not escape the consequences of their actions.
In the long run, Haman's evil intentions were turned against him, and his wickedness ultimately led to his own downfall. It is also a poignant example of the biblical principle that those who sow the seeds of destruction will reap what they have sown. (Galatians 6:7, Proverbs 26:27)
