Whatever it is that you give your power to, that thing, or that entity will give its power, in the realm of its power, back to you.
Controlling relationships exist because one party gives its power to a controlling individual.
When you give power to a controlling individual, that controlling individual will give power back to you in the area that they function in - in the area of control - so you are more prone to do what they want you to do, because they're giving you power and energy in that area.
Power in Business comes from Giving Power
What you need to focus on in life and business is what you are giving power to because whatever you have given power to will determine the kind of power and the kind of influence that you get back in life.
Give power to your customers, and your customers will give power back to you!
If you don't want to keep on drinking, you must not give power to your drinking habits or give power to booze or to the wine bottle.
Because the only thing that will result when you give power to the wine bottle is that it will give power back to you in the area of drinking. That's why the more you drink, the more difficult it becomes to finally stop.
